The Thai Parliament has approved the negotiation framework for the Thailand-China railway. Members of Parliament gave approval during a joint session. The problem is the U.S. dollar, not the Thai baht. The U.S. dollar is at its lowest level in 13 years. When the U.S. dollar depreciates, currencies in other countries, including Thailand, become stronger. The currency appreciation in any given country is based on that country’s economy, and how it deals with the problem.
